About
Listing photos you can take, fix and stand behind.

Who makes CurbShot
CurbShot is built by Metin Güner, its founder, a mobile app developer. It is a phone app for real estate agents, property managers, owners and short-term rental hosts who photograph their own listings. It enhances light and colour, removes portable clutter, virtually stages empty rooms and exports a set sized for where the photos are going, with every original kept beside its edit.
The app is built around one rule: a listing photo has to show the property as it is. CurbShot will not add or remove walls, windows or doors, hide damage, change a room's size or invent a view, and every export includes a note saying exactly what was done to each photo.
How the blog is written
Posts are bylined CurbShot Team. We write them with the help of AI, and every post goes through the same steps before it is published:
- Real questions. Topics come from what people actually search for about listing photos.
- Primary sources. Rules are checked against the source that sets them: the MLS, the platform's help pages, the statute or the NAR Code of Ethics. We link those sources in the post.
- Our own material. Examples use real photos and screens from CurbShot, not stock images.
- Automated checks. Structure, links, image text and banned claims are checked before a post can be built.
- Human review. A person reads every post and approves it before it goes live.
When a post mentions CurbShot, it describes what the app does today and nothing more. Prices are dated, because store prices change.
What our posts are not
We are not lawyers, and nothing on this blog is legal advice. Photo and disclosure rules differ between MLSs, platforms and places, and they change. Our posts explain the rules and link to them; your MLS, broker or local regulator has the final word.
No post is sponsored, and we are not paid to mention any product or service.
Corrections
If something in a post is wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. We fix confirmed errors and show the date a post was last updated at the top of the post.
